City buildings reopen; here are the details

The city will reopen all buildings on Monday, May 10.

City administration has instituted a policy requiring all visitors to wear a face mask while inside any city facility until further notice. A visitor includes anybody from the public coming to a city facility to conduct business other than attending a public meeting.

Residents are being asked, however not required, to wear masks when attending public meetings or hearings. Examples of public meetings include City Council meetings and Planning & Zoning Advisory Board meetings.

Meanwhile, a vaccination site offering all three Covid-19 vaccines to Florida residents has plenty of reservation spots available.

The site is open weekdays at Plantation Central Park, 9151 NW Second St.

Eligible residents must make an appointment online at https://www.milo.care/plantationvaccine. The shots are free.
